This weekend was so great! Me and my friend Ásdís went to the east side of the contry to take a look at land that will go underwater this winter because of damp which is beeing built. We manged to do much in a short time. We saw a nice waterfall and decided to walk up to it. The walk was way longer than we tought. On the way up we sat down do drink from a spring and relax, we relaxed a bit to much becaus we both fell asleep. We had gone to town the night before and had not slept much before talking the trip. We accidentely passed the informationcentre and realized 60km later. Some of the roads were terrible and we almost got stuck once were there is no telephoneconnection. On the way to our campingplace we had to drive over some rivers. I really love this terrible highlandroads - it is so much fun!!! There is a Cabin at the campingplace and we met really nice peoble that stayed there. They were from Iceland and Germany so when we played cards there was spoken a mixture of Icelandic, English, German and because I got so confused I somtimes spoke Danish as well. They wanted us to stay inside but we were stubburn and wanted to spend the night in our tent because otherwise it would not be a real camping. The next day we bateh in natural hot water. Then we took a flight back to Reykjavík. We got the best weather ever on the east side but in Reykjavík there was rain and fog. I am trying to put in pictures...
